What is a Hike?

Starting the next chapter of your business is simpler than you think

It’s really quite simple.

We all know what hiking is, but have you ever stopped and defined it?

As author of Profit Hiker, one of my first exercises was really defining what a hike is. I felt it was my duty if I was going to use it as a metaphor for the entire program, after all.

Here is what I came up with:

Hiking is simply making a plan, preparing for a journey, and then putting one foot in front of the other until the journey is complete.

Hiking is full of eagerness, effort, and accomplishment.

Hiking requires bravery and leads to adventure.

Hiking supports health, blazes trails, makes memories, and forges character.

Do you know what it takes to be a hiker? All you have to do is start hiking!

If you are hiking a flat, half-mile trail around a pond, you are a hiker. If you are climbing Mount Everest, you are a hiker. It doesn’t need to be epic or complicated, you just need to make a plan, prepare, and get moving.

Are you ready to be a Profit Hiker?

Onward and upward,
