Profit From Your Garbage

You're probably throwing away valuable digital inventory

You set up a marketing campaign. Everything looks to be going well. The phone is ringing, and you’re getting leads by email. Not every one is a perfect fit, but that’s ok because it’s not hard to sort through them and find the prospects you want.

But what do you do with the ones who aren’t a fit?

Sales prospects, or “leads”, are a commodity item.

Commodity items have a market.

And that means that your leftover leads have value.

If you are turning away business, those contacts have value to other people who do what you do (or maybe another type of business entirely).

Here’s how reselling leads works:

When you find someone who wants what you don’t, you can negotiate a price per lead, send the leads to them as they come in to you, and then invoice them at the end of the month for what was sent.

I even helped a business set up a lead resale program that was an online membership subscription, and they didn’t have to do anything at all except post them to the site. The membership system did the rest.

Are you throwing away leads that would be good for someone else?
