'Tis the Season

‘Tis, indeed.

I love how we conjugate “it is” in a special way only one month out of the year.

11 months, it’s. December, ‘tis.

I like funny quirky habits like that, especially when we all do it together as a group.

Ok - no business talk today.

If you have read my book, you might have figured out that I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Or Yeshua of Nazareth, if we’re going to be properly old school (which is another thing I love). Jesus is our janky modern English translation (possibly via Latin?), and Christ, believe it or not, is not his surname – it’s the title meaning Messiah, Savior, The Chosen One (think: Neo, Luke Skywalker, Harry Potter, et al).

So Mary and Joseph would not have been called "Mr. and Mrs. Christ” by the neighbor kids. Just FYI.

Back to Yeshua.

I follow Jesus because he is, in his words, "the Way, the Truth, and the Life". I’m telling you, I would be a lost, angry, and broken man without the love of Jesus in my life. My life overflows with forgiveness, and he gives me a full tank of grace and forgiveness for everyone around me.

We are all built with a deep desire to experience forgiveness, and we can all be given the ability to forgive endlessly. This is what’s waiting for you, if you choose to accept it. If you want to know more about what I mean, just reply… I read every email.
