Even Tee Ball Teams Need It
This is the one thing that every organization in the world has in common
It’s the fuel.
You can’t run the machine without money.
If you’re starting a tee ball team, you need uniforms. Cleats. Practice balls. Field time. Juice boxes.
So you raise money, by league dues, by parents buying gear, maybe a car wash fundraiser is in order.
But what you can’t do is be short on budget.
Every organization needs breathing room to relieve pressure and open new doors.
It doesn’t matter if you’re running a Fortune 100 company or a Boy Scout troop, you need to have a balanced budget with healthy margins that has breathing room at the end of each month and each year.
When it’s a tee ball team, we call it “pizza money”. Adult beer-league softball teams call it a “slush fund”. A business calls it “profit”.
You need it too.
