Take control of expenses in one savvy move
I had a business partner years ago who would control costs once or twice a year by cancelling the company debit card.
It’s a handy technique for a small business owner who often doesn’t have the bandwidth to pick through your Profit and Loss statement and control every expense.
It takes “Cost Reduction” and flips it on its head – making you in charge of controlling expenses, not the other way around.
It’s amazing how quickly vendors will come knocking on your door to get paid, which opens the conversation about how much you’re paying compared to the value you’re getting.
At the very least, it keeps everybody on their toes. At its best, it brings a mega boost to your bottom line.
Think about cancelling your debit card this week.
