Better Together
Multiplication > Addition, leverage it wisely
“But I don’t wanna.”
That’s something you didn’t hear on this trip.
In my book I talk about one trip to the Grand Canyon where we hiked as a group to the bottom and back, all in one day.
It was brutal.
It was hot, steep, dry, dangerous, and over 4,500 feet of elevation drop (and then gain). In one single day.
You know what you didn’t hear? “I don’t wanna.” There was zero whining. We were in it together, for better or worse… and at times it felt like “til death do us part.”
That’s because we were together, we were a crew, and we were not going to let each other down.
Lesson learned: accountability can be a huge advantage.
Accountability is a positive version of peer pressure that keeps everybody on track because we don’t want to let down our fellow hikers.
Hiking together can lead you to accomplish more together than you would have done on your own. Surrounding yourself with a solid group of peers tends to bring out your full potential.
Find your people
I have been a part of several small entrepreneur or business owner meetups throughout the years and it can be tremendously helpful to lean on others who are traveling the same journey.
Assemble a small group of like-minded Profit Hikers to meet regularly and help each other out.
It’s better together.
